Education has its root in the word ēducō meaning; ‘I lead forth/ I take out/ I raise up’ It is a progressive word. It has no link to an ending, it isn’t just for a particular establishment, age group or certificate. It is in fact a life long activity.
John C Maxwell has this to say about education. ‘The best students realise that when they are out of school, they are not out of school’. Learning is all around us in every environment, if we choose to notice it.
