Thoughts Become Things

Have you ever had one of those days when you just don’t know how you feel? No matter what others say to you, you just can’t seem to muster the energy to do anything?

Well if you are saying ‘yes, that’s me‘ you are not alone.

Some people get into these states because they often neglect themselves and their wants. They forget that they need re-energising and stimulating because life happens. They are over taken by the hum-drum activities in their everyday lives.

If we were to truly ask ourselves why we feel the way we do and actually listened to the answer given by our body, mind and spirit, we’d be able to do something positive that will put us in a higher state.

it could be that we need more sleep, better diet, more (or in some cases less) exercise. Whatever it is, take some time out each day just for you. It doesn’t have to take hours. It could be as simple as taking fifteen minutes out of your schedule.

There is a proverb that says;

As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he

So, what are you thinking about? Are you thinking about how tired you are? or how broke you are? or how much time you don’t have?

Wishful thinking and positive thoughts won’t change anything on their own but it’s a great place to start. So if you want more energy, think about the things that will give you that. If you want to increase your income or lower your debt, think of the things that will help you to do that. If you want more time think of ways that will give you that.

Once you start thinking of the things you do want you will think of a way to get them. On the flip side if all you focus on is what you don’t want, you’ll find ways to keep hold of that too.

Having the vision of what you want will give you the thinking space you need to create a path to get you the things you want. That path will have milestones and sign posts to keep you on track. Therefore this journey will take some time. That’s ok because you are in control of just how much time you feel it will take. Each milestone is a distance to be celebrated, it is a benchmark to just how close you are to reaching your goal. The sign posts you put up along the way will give you constructive feedback and direct you back onto your path.

So, no matter how long it takes, no matter how much correction and guidance you need you will get there if you keep going. You set the rules so you can win the game. Get rid of your stinking thinking and start cultivating your field of thought.
